Dress Like A Gladiator

Scandal's season premiere is today! One of the few things I love more than that show is Olivia Pope's fashion. I am so happy someone decided to create a collection inspired by Kerry Washington in THE LIMITED! Get her look below:

Are you excited about the new season of Scandal?

It's the first day of fall! Can you believe that October starts next week? There are only three months and one week left in 2014.

If you set a new years resolution and haven't started on it don't look at it like, "I don't have enough time left to complete it." Time flies and that is a great reason to motivate you to remember that "You Gotta Keep Going" when things happen in your life.

I was listening to Jhene Aiko's new album, Souled Out and in the song W.A.Y.S. she stated, "You Gotta Keep Going". That is where the inspiration for this post came from and I just love the positive message in the song. Look at it on a positive side, "I have three months and one week to complete it!" Sometimes life gets hard but you have to brush off the negative and look at the positive. Try thinking about why you started.

You have to keep going with your goals instead of just giving up because life will keep going. Try not to dwell on the negative issues in your life and focus more on the positive!

To help you be more fashionable during this transition in your thought process, I have this summer to fall transition outfit that should help. The crop top and flowy skirt still has the summer vibes going on but the wedges, hat and denim jacket helps when the evening becomes a little cooler.

Is there anything you said you would accomplish this year? How did it work out? How are you adjusting to the fall weather? Are you feeling Jhene Aiko's new album?
End of the Summer Blues

Today is the last day of summer and if you're as blue about the season coming to an end as me, why not show it in your outfit? This all denim look is inspired by the Queen Beyonce and she was rocking it about two months ago on her Instagram

Beyonce was wearing Cazal shades, a distressed denim jacket with plenty of Chanel brooches, an arm cuff, denim skirt, and the Christian Louboutin Gold Follies Resille 120 mm.

Check out how you can get this look below:

What denim pieces are you excited to wear this fall?

This time of the year is so weird because when you leave the house in the morning it is a little cool. You go get lunch and the sun is beaming down on you. Then at night when it is time to go out on the town, it is too chilly to have on just what you wore earlier in the day.

A jumpsuit is the perfect piece to have in your wardrobe to transition from day to night during this time of the year!

Day

Loving this jumpsuit I got from Target. The contrast of the monotone top and animal print bottom is one thing but the bold black stripe going down the side of each leg is what makes it so great. I was debating rather I should wear a necklace or not but I went with this silver necklace that I borrowed from my sister. My brown, thrifted Nine West backpack helped me haul all of my belongings around. For shoes I put on my Charlotte Russe oxfords. They no longer sale them so I here are some great slip ons that would look awesome with this day look and make it a lot easier to run errands in.

Night

To transition to night, I simply changed my shoes to a pair of wedge heels, my backpack to a clutch and added my leather jacket. For jewelry I kept the necklace but swapped out my bangles for a more chunkier bracelet. Leather jackets just make everything cooler, don't you agree?! And it can keep you warm while running around town during the upcoming chilly nights this season!

What do you think of the jumpsuit trend? If you're loving it, check out these from Forever 21.
Hello guys! Fall is literally right around the corner. It begins on September 23, 2014. I picked my top 10 fall essentials from Refinery29's Your Fall Wardrobe In 30 Essential BuysCheck it out below:

Fallin' 4 Fashion: Top 10 Fall 2014 Essentials

Top: Old Navy | Denim Shirt: Thrifted | Skirt: Forever21 | Bag: Forever21 | Shoes: Converse

Fall is right around the corner and along with bonfires, carnivals, and fall fashion comes outfits for football games! This tradition has recently become one of my favorites within the past two years. My team is the Carolina Panthers. We won our first game Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers!

To celebrate I wore this chic game day look.

The jersey tee is from Old Navy. I purchased it last year so they are no longer in stock but here are similar tops from the Panthers' site. To go for a chic look I coordinated a pencil skirt and Alexander Wang Rocco inspired purse into this outfit. There is a similar purse on their site but the one I have is sold out.

I had to tie the look together.

I am more of a sneakers girl so I threw on my Converse. To compliment the shoes and balance the look out, I tied my thrifted denim Levi top around my wrist. The gold accessories went along with the gold hardware on the purse! I played around with my eye makeup also and lined my lower lash with Hard Candy Take Me Out Liner Eye Pencil in Chop Suey. For my inner tear duct I used the gold in Revlon Coastal Blues palette.

Are you excited about football season beginning? If so what is your favorite team?

Lately I have been obsessed with photos of Kimye. Although the duo is now married, this photo from their visit to The X-Factor in November 2012 stood out to me as I was looking through a quick Tumblr, "kimye" search.
Kim is being sexy while leaving some things to the imagination with this sheer-sleeve top. She completes this look with a red faux leather midi pencil skirt and black suede pumps.
Kanye lives up to his lyrics in Murder To Excellence when he states, "All black everything, you know the fresh code." He pairs the textured black blazer and black tee with black leather pants and white high top sneakers.
These two make me really believe that love changes you. When it comes to their fashion it was for the better. Leather skirts were hot this summer. Will you be adding a midi leather skirt into your fall style?
